Some people sneeze once and are done. Others sneeze dozens of times in a row once they sneeze once. Assuming the purpose of sneezing is to get the allergens/dust/dirt/etc. out of your nasal cavity, why do some sneeze so much and others so little?

Most types of life I can think of seem to have originated in the ocean but I've never seen an "ocean mushroom". Did the fungi kingdom originate there too then move onto land later? What was the world like then?
